The founder of our company Cevdet Bayraktar started his career by starting to work at his father’s and uncles’ company Orhan Painting in 1988 at Dilova Sedef Shipyard. At this date, he carried out the blasting and painting of 24 Russian logger ships for Orhan Painting. After a short interval in his career, Cevdet Baykar started working again in his father’s company Gülnur Construction Contracting Ind. Trade Co. which he later takes over. After working at this company for a time, he and his brother Ayhan Bayraktar founded Baykar Shipping Construction. Ind. Trade Co. called Bayraktar Brothers.

Around the same, because the company was working with different shipyards there was a need for a second company. Therefore, he and his brother-in-law Ziya Akça founded Baykar Blasting Painting Ind. Trade Co. Currently the company is continuing operations for Tuzla Sedef Shipyard, Ereğli Ship belonging to Med Marine group, Usmed and Yılmaz Ship Shipyards. It has been doing business with Sedef Shipyard since 1993.
